Art of Forgetting

Art of Forgetting explores how deeply our memories are engrained in our consciousness, phsyicality and psyche. Do we need to remember in order to forget?

Fusing live videography re-broadcasted on layers of hanging material, Art of Forgetting merges elements of modern life with distant and repressed memories. Lucia Tong looks at how our physicalities can hold stories from the past and explores ways to move beyond them.
